Nexus: Downfall is a browser-based space MMORTS where you begin by helping a planet prosper, develop technology, build fleets, conquer other worlds and shape the destiny of your civilization across persistent universes.
Progress is built one decision at a time. Your economy, technology and military choices define the path ahead.
01 / THE NEW UNIVERSE
Nexus: Downfall begins where the old universe ends.
After the Downfall, the stars of the known cosmos went dark in a chain of impossible cataclysms. A handful of survivors crossed mysterious portals and reached a new universe: wounded, displaced and carrying the last fragments of their civilizations.
From a single colony you will build planetary infrastructure, research technologies, recruit leaders and command fleets. Each season will advance a galaxy shaped by order, freedom and the unknown.

02 / GAMEPLAY
Construction, economy, exploration, science and specialization connect within progression designed to last.
Each planet is a living, evolving infrastructure. You must build structures, assign workers to guarantee resource production and manage energy consumption to keep production and growth going.
Minerals, microchips, hydrogen, food, credits, energy and population form an economic network. A food shortage can trigger famine. Low stability can spark riots that will disable your buildings and could cost civilian casualties.

PopulationEach universe contains several galaxies with hundreds of solar systems that in turn contain planets, stars and asteroid belts. Solar systems are connected by hyperlanes, creating strategic routes that can be explored, defended or contested.
Your scientists generate Science Points that you invest in technologies with their own requirements and dependencies. Trees open progressively and guide the empire toward new economic, military and political capabilities.
Your civilization establishes the origin of your people. The Regent, their abilities and initial principles determine how your empire grows, relates to other players and what kind of galactic power it becomes.
03 / CIVILIZATIONS
Each civilization brings a visual identity, a history and a different way to approach economy, science or war.
